yes, but it wasnt JFK it was through customs in miami with a package from the netherlands. i also never got a call, it was all snail mail.

i wrote a very detailed description of the process and how to resolve this. i think its a international trade thread/discussion in the beer trading help subforum. ill edit this post or repost with a link

Just met a dude in a Wendy's parking lot 2,000 miles from home for something other than a *******. Batch 1 Cuvée René:

....But you still got a *******, right?

thanks for this. I went a bit overboard on this one, and it looks like my box is ~92lbs....makes sense why it was flagged. They did open it (the form they sent me included a list of contents). I'm now told that this will go to the FDA for review (can take 72 hours), and if all is okay after this (not really sure what "okay" means), they will release the package for final delivery...hopefully it doesnt take another two months!

Maximum deliverable weight for USPS is 70 pounds. I imagine that's why the online stores max out at 30kg (18btls).

Hopefully the FDA doesn't have to open a few bottles and take samples. Good luck

For every person I've seen posting about maxing out a box, you'd think you'd see more people actually drinking the stuff.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You mean in the wild? In this thread? Lol.

My roommate popped this one on his birthday Saturday. Tasty, but not quite as jammy as the 2015 3f Kriek I popped earlier last week (didn't take a pic, just shared with friends).

My other buddy did some work for his masters in Paris/Spain/etc. for 6 weeks. He brought back some stuff to share, and we popped this one recently. This bottle was great, nice musk and bright lemons, significantly better than standard CR.

wyatt brought over a ^2 this past Saturday. It was not a great bottle, or it's hit a weird stage. Slight cardboard, tons of oak. Once again, no picture :p

I whacked off to my B2 Hommage on Tuesday. It was sublime. Use your imagination. :p

Seriously though, I drank a '14 3F OG earlier this week. Really loving that vintage! Don't think my others will last long.
No pics though cuz too lazy

I was hoping to stretch my '14 3F OGs out for a while, but I just can't stop drinking them. One of my favorite vintages.

Anyone crack any '15 OGs?
