So I got some de cam in the other day from a janky place. I ordered 2 bottle of what they called de cam lambiek with a picture of the special lambiek, product code was also spec as well. What I got was 2 bottles of Oude lambic, but I'm not at all that concerned about the mislead and also almost expected due to cheap prices and level of Jankyness. Now here's the confusing part, the Oude lambiek's are the old labels and has a date of 2001 crossed out. Knowing how they use labels until they gone I can assume these are not 2001, but are they likely 2003 the next batch or is it possible they are the most recent batch?

Well it's only recently that Karel has been crossing out the wrong dates on labels. So if it came from brewery that way, I'd say it's a recent bottling. If store did it then who knows.

Yeah for the record...I did not. Ordered 7 bottles, got 5, one of which was something i didn't order. That after a couple months waiting for shipment, and I've spent months since then trying to get a partial refund with no success. They will not respond to emails, Facebook is only place I've got any kind of response. Just a word of caution to anyone else considering trying their luck with the jankiness, I don't think it's worth the risk to save a few bucks. If I had actually got a Lambiek Special that would be a different story.

Also the packing job was TERRIBLE with everything just wrapped in one layer bubble wrap and bouncing around inside a flimsy box. The glass I ordered was shattered into a million pieces.

Definitely bad packing, glassware would not stand a chance with their setup.

The 1999 label has JPVR on the back as well. That was actually a question I was going to raise over on the .info FB group, as I'm curious too.

They also had a bunch of Cantillon 750s showing when I went there, but every time I updated my cart one of the Loons would disappear as out of stock. Ended up with Framboos, but no Cantillon

I got an Iris and GCB 2011. Passed on everything else since I do I need to pay this week for a 2nd Cantillon gueuze magnum. (it'll be exciting for my 1st bottle to have a twin!). if we ever trade, I'm sure I'll have some Cantillon bottles I'd trade you. I usually have at least a handful that I don't intend to drink.

It seems by the time I log in Iris, etc is all showing 0 in stock on Etre. I got 1 bottle of St. Lam some time ago but most everything goes super quick.
