Krusen looking like mushroom.

Has anyone seen krusen like this? I have have not. This is my first time using pilsner, don't know if has anything to do with it.

That's what happens when the yeast nukes your wort, mushroom krausen .

Not alarmed, just curious if anyone has had krusen look like this. I for one after three years of brewing have not.

Sure, happens every single time I ferment beer or cider.

You just have an above average amount of c02 being presently produced. Its foaming.

That looks pretty cool. I've never seen krausen do that. I also never look at my fermentors once they are in the ferment chamber. 3 weeks and then I open for a reading/bottling/kegging. I am no longer nosey about what is going on in a fermentor.....
