First tasting of my Kolsch and 1st year cascades. Beer came out great, i will make it again. The color looks darker in the picture but its actually spot on.
Recipe Volume: 2.5 gal
Yeast: Wyeast 2565 Kolsch
Fermentables: Amount Type
4.5 lbs. Domestic 2 Row
.5 lbs. German Wheat
Non-Fermentables:
1 tab Whirlfloc
OG 1.052
FG 1.013
ABV% 5.0%
Hops: Amount Time Type % Alpha Acid
.25 oz 60 min. Hallertau 3.9%
.25 oz 30 min. Hallertau 3.9%
.25 oz 15 min Hallertau 3.9%
Calculated IBUs = 16.2

Single infusion mash at 151 degrees
