I realized last week when I made a my first batch of beer that I didn’t know what beer was. I mean, I have always loved beer, I just didn’t know why. It wasn’t until I stood above boiling malt and then added hops that I truly knew what it was. My wife and daughters had to leave the house, vowing that I could only brew in the garage from now on and that’s just fine with me. I am in love with this and beer will never be the same again.:rockin:

I'm right there with you. Now I can't drink just any beer, instead of 7 bucks for a sixer I'm paying 12 for a 4 pack of quality beer until my pipeline is established. Very dangerous dark black hole this brewing addiction creates

As you start to learn the different grains, hops and yeast, you will look at and evaluate beer even more differently!

It's a fun addiction.
Enjoy.
