I kegged my first beer (Pale Ale) a couple months and cannot for the life of me get it to carbonate. Below are the details:

-Pin lock corny kegs
-Racked to keg, pressurized, but then sat for almost a month (my kegerator died and I had to build a keezer)
- Finally got the keezer built, pressurized to about 10psi, let it sit for a few days, beer flowed out just fine, but flat.
- Pressurized to 15psi, let it sit for a few days, same result.
- Pressurized to 25psi, where its been for over a week, same result. (Beer flows out very fast, but has no carbonation.)

Any suggestions? As far as I know the Co2 seems to be reaching the keg, but IDK why it isn't be absorbed and carbonated?! Thanks a lot!

Well if your not out of gas its probably not a leak. You are leaving the gas on at these pressures right? Not be insulting but I've had a friend with similar issues and turns out he would pressurize the turn off the gas. Then turn it on to serve flat beer.

Are you holding those pressures constantly or just pressurizing to that level then disconnecting the gas line and letting it sit? It almost sounds like that's what you're doing after reading your post.

After two weeks on CO2 even the biggest FG beer will be appreciably carbed.
Then the problem is keeping the carbonation in the beer during dispense.

So, does the beer pour with a lot of foamy head?
Or does it pour almost like still water?

Cheers!

- Pressurized to 25psi, where its been for over a week, same result. (Beer flows out very fast, but has no carbonation.)

The gas must not be getting to the beer at 25 psi, if it were you would have all foam and no beer after a week at 25 psi.

Are you turning the tank valve off or leaving it on?

No, the valve has been left on and has been on for over a month now at the varying pressures listed above.
I'm assuming the Co2 is reaching the keg because it's pouring with a lot of velocity, but then resting and tasting completely flat. (I'll double check this by disconnecting it from the keg and slightly releasing pressure from the tank.)
I can't tell you off the top of my head what the diameter of the tubing is, but it's smaller.
The Co2 I'm using is several years old. Does it go bad after awhile? It was used on and off in my old kegerator, but has sat idle for at least a couple years. Thanks a lot!

So there is no head on the beer at all? There has to be co2 reaching the beer. How much is left in your tank? Do you have another gas connect you can use? It all seems odd.
