Keg bottling

Soooo i have to bottle condition any of my batches and everytime i wanna take beer somewhere i just fill up out of my keg and drink those beers within a few days.

My question is if you bottle a fully carbonated beer from a keg into a bottle, will the bottle become lose its carbonation after a week or so? I have yet to test it but my buddy told me thats what eventually happens to beer bottled in this manner. Id like to bottle 3 or 4 of each batch to store for a month or so but i dont wanna have to go through the trouble of doing it at kegging time or using priming sugar.

That's a good question I'd like to know the answer to myself.
