Nice! Yeah they do! She loves sours so I thought this would sell itself but perhaps the 5+ hr drive isn't helping.

Is the bottle release run well? She has been put through numerous ****** kuhnhenn releases and is scarred...Thanks in advance

Bottle release was exceptional last time. Nothing compared to kuhnhenn.

If the weather isn't ****, hocking hills is pretty awesome to check out if you've never been. Not to sure about athens itself though.

The Bottle Release is probably one of the smoothest bottles releases I've ever been to. Friday at 5 p.m Brad will open the doors to the Brewpub and hand a calendar date for each person. There's another side of the Brewpub that is already open to the public to try some beers and grab some grub. After the initial rush they leave the calendar dates behind the bar for later traffic to grab a date. The rest of the night you enjoy the crazy tap list that they have setup (worth the trip itself). Saturday they open the doors at 9 a.m and around 11 a.m. Brad talks about Jackie O's and the bottles that are being release and after that they call the calendar dates in order. Allocations are stated that morning. If there's anything left over after the initial run they'll repeat the process. Have some food and a beer while you wait for your bottles.

Used to be Cash only but as of the lastest release they accept most major credit cards.

If anybody will be there that somehow isn't into sours (not likely I know), please let me know. I can't make it until late Saturday afternoon (just going to enjoy the taps), but would love to set something up to score some of the bottles. First release I will miss in a while and I am bummed!

From FB:
Thanks to the firefighters (from four different precincts!) who bravely fought to save the people and businesses of Union Street this morning. We are thankfully all safe, but the extensive damage to Jackie O's' building leaves our public house and kitchen closed indefinitely. The brewpub will be re-open as soon as possible. Our heart goes out to everyone affected. We plan to help as much as we can when we can. Thank you for the outpouring of support we have received from all over the world.

Anyone got any leads on the logistics of how the anniversary extravaganza is going down?

Also, if the bottle share is canceled at bagel street deli we would be willing to host in our suite at OU inn.

So, with all the post-fire issues going on, what is the situation like for the Brewpub? Looking like I may be able to get down there slightly possible tomorrow or more likely next Monday, pending last minute work travel. Really have wanted to check out Jackie O's, and very sad to see about the fire damage/issues.

Wondering if it is worth the hike from Columbus for the night, especially on Monday when the brewery appears to be closed. Any help would be awesome!

That's hilarious! I didn't check where you're from and just assumed you were local to Columbus, OH. All joking aside it really is worth the trip.
Well then, Jackie O's is on my horizon.

Bottles to-go at the brewery? Hoping to find some Rum Oil of Aphrodite at some point.
