So I woke up today and made waffles... Sounds simple enough but I've tried for years to make waffles as good as my grandma. Think I've finally came close.

Ran to the store to pick up some beer. Got a sixer of Great Divide Oaked IPA for $2.99 and a 12 pack sampler of Saranac winter sampler for $5.99 (yes, really that cheap)

Now I have a pot of red beans and rice cooking and watching football.

Think you can top this day?

that sounds pretty sweet. heck of a deal on the brews. here was my weekend..
brewed up 10gal of english mild...
and bacon, mushroom, jerk cheese burger on king's hawaiin roll bun and a side of grilled shrimp.
