Got a bottle in the MAW BIF. Enjoyed it, but I wouldn't go over the top trying to get it.Anyone ever have Angry Chair Dave's BABW? I hear it's awesome. Hard to get?
It seems to exist in the purgatory of "not easy to get but not also not a hypewale so no one really trades it."Got a bottle in the MAW BIF. Enjoyed it, but I wouldn't go over the top trying to get it.
My small hall from ADWTD day. stoked to slowly open these over the next 7-10 years.
its fantastic! got within top 5 of a blind BA bwine tastingAnyone ever have Angry Chair Dave's BABW? I hear it's awesome. Hard to get?
apple brandy sounds amazingHave you or anyone you know tried any of these yet? There is basically nothing out there outside of the two bottles that were no limit, which I figure people are saving, but I can't really find much for those either. I'm genuinely interested about this set.
3-4 years tops. Don't sit on it to long. It's basically awesome as is.My small hall from ADWTD day. stoked to slowly open these over the next 7-10 years.

Just ******* enjoy it, don't put it on a pedistol.
Unless of course you blew your beer budget for the next 7-10 years acquiring those bottles. Then sip'em wisely.
Whoa! My bottles of Abacus fell off hard after 3 years. FW typically peaks at 1 year.Eh, I'm not putting it on a pedestal. I think they could last that long, I'll keep checking in on them and see how things go, if they start dropping off even a little, I'll drink them. Abacus has held up just fine over the last 6-7 years and is just now starting to drop off, these may have the potential to do the same. Who knows.

Good to hear some are hanging in there.
I’d probably load them all in a cooler and take them to a pool party. But that’s just me. Beer is beer.3-4 years tops. Don't sit on it to long. It's basically awesome as is.

If I didn't intend on cellaring any, I wouldn't have bought a whole case.I’d probably load them all in a cooler and take them to a pool party. But that’s just me. Beer is beer.
They're all infected. Send me one immediately. If I didn't intend on cellaring any, I wouldn't have bought a whole case.
Unless of course you blew your barleywine budget for the next 7-10 years acquiring those bottles. Then sip'em wisely.

Lets be real here........22,156 cans, tops.Would rather sell them and buy a million straight jacket cans in 2018

Was able to snag Midnight Sun Termination Dust on our last trip to Hawaii, but wasn't sure what I would be able to find barleywine-wise this time around.
Was pleased to see MOAS (for $33) and a few Clown Shoes options (Pierre Ferrand Billionaire and Bluegrass Billionaire). Ended up with the Pierre Ferrand Billionaire since I've never tried it.
Will be crushing the Billionaire on the balcony tomorrow night.
That is not a 2012. Earliest that can be with that label is 2014. Anything before that would have an inkjet label with a stock image of a row of barrels.2012, not really showing it's age. so thick you could cut it with a knife. Figs, figs, figs

I'm not 100% positive on this but I am also reasonably confident that there wasn't and BBBW in 2012.
I was going to sit on them, but I decided not to. The woodford reserve was probably the weakest of the bunch(that's really not saying much), it had a very strong charred oak and almost dark cherry like presence. The apple brandy was the hottest off the bat, but settled nicely in the glass and was overall the most complex. The double oaked was far more balanced and nuanced than the single barrel cognac, and the scotch was silky smooth, not overly peaty. The rum, which I was expecting to like the least was actually very pleasant and not overpowering. They were all very different and nuanced, and I never longed to be drinking another beer to cleanse the pallet. Overall, it was one of the most amazing drinking experiences I have ever had. I hope I get the chance to drink another one day.

totally agree. i don't like aged FW barrel beers. i think their yeast strain takes on a spearmint taste after a few years that grosses me out.Whoa! My bottles of Abacus fell off hard after 3 years. FW typically peaks at 1 year.
