Here are my level 3 formulas. Keep in mind that our iSpindels are most probably nothing alike. Different weight and preforms will affect the reading hence requiring you to perform a calibration yourself (unless it was done for you). Feel free to use these or just compare them against what you were provided.
FYI, my iSpindel is the 'Jeffrey v2.69'.

Cool. Thank you for that. I think when I bought it, the builder said it was already calibrated and gave me formulas much like what you have given me here. Like I said, I kinda fooled with them a bit and probably screwed them up, so I am going to cut and paste the original from the spreadsheet he sent me. If that doesn't work, I will investigate how to calibrate it myself and start completely from scratch. I am hoping to get it to work, cause it is pretty cool to see what is going on inside the bucket.

I have 2 ispindels hooked up through brewfather for the last couple years. It was a little trial and error to get hooked up but great now that it is working and I wouldn't go back. I eventually started using a nautilis relay to give me a local display for the ispindels but this doesn't affect the brewfather integration other than just adding a little more configuration.
Hello @shoeboo2 - it has been 18 months or so since you sent this response so it is a bit of a long shot. I didn't have time to mess with my two iSpindels and the Nautilis relay before brewing with them. I was super happy to see that the seller I purchased from had it all configured to talk right out of the box so I was getting information right away on the relay display.

I then tried to get it working and had issues with getting the iSpindels to send data through the Nautilis Relay to BrewFather. I got the Relay to send its data just fine to BrewFather but it wouldn't send either iSpindel data to BrewFather.

I then edited the settings on the iSpindels:
  • Updated Server Address from 192.168.4.1 to the BrewFather Server Address: log.brewfather.net
  • Updated Server URL from /gravity (I believe it was) to BrewFather URL: /ispindel?id=XXXXXXXXXX

For the sake of this brew day, I just disconnected the relay, moved a router to nearby, and created a Wi-Fi network to match what the Relay was using and they started sending data right away.

Super happy with how this works generally, it would just be nice to have that local readout from the relay as well as capture my glycol chiller temp just because with the Relay.

I was wondering if you had a couple screenshots you would be able to send for the iSpindel and Relay? Or if anyone else has something to look at.

I'll mess around with this after the beers are packaged up, I'm guessing that I maybe shouldn't have changed the Server Address and left it as the iRelay's Server Address and it will transmit it through to BrewFather if I just put in the correct URL?
