I am about 4 oz short of biscuit malt for a recipe but i have vienna and thought I'd make up the difference.. What do you guys think?

bring back an old thread from the dead....Toast 2-row at 300*F for 15 minutes... Done. I don't buy biscuit or victory anymore, it's too easy to toast my own, and the flavor is slightly more complex which I really dig.
Yes, I find it very easy, especially for lighter colored malts like victory. All you need is a cookie sheet and a standard oven. Don't forget to store the toasted grain for about 2 weeks. It has a harsh flavor, which goes away during this storage period.bring back an old thread from the dead....
I'm doing a pub ale today and my standard recipe calls for biscuit/victory malt and I have none in my huge inventory...
Can it really be this simple to make your own ?????
