is my yeast good

I am getting ready to do my first brew. I have liquid Wyeast I am trying to activate it. I could not feel a packet as described the yeast was in liquid form. I slaped the liquid a few times and shook the bag . Looks like the bag is barely swelling is the yeast ok? Thanks for your input.

I've had some swell tight and some barely swell at all and they all worked. What's the date?

You should be fine. The swelling isn't a good indicator of yeast health. Unless they really got baked in shipping, and the yeast is reasonably fresh (on or around its expire date), you're fine. Make a starter next time and you'll know for sure!
