Hello all. Long time reader, first posting. Trying to figure out all the mobile app intricacies. Anyway, this will be my first custom extract w/ grains recipe and I was looking for some insight. I'm fairly new to brewing but am loving it so far and I wanted to try something different whether it fails or not. Going for a coffee stout with whiskey added to give it sort of a Irish coffee flavor. Maybe it'll be too much but it'll be fun anyway. Anyway, here goes:

10# extra light dme

1# roasted barley

12oz chocolate barley

9oz black patent (too much? 1st tome using it and I know it's strong)

2oz nugget @ 60

1oz MT hood at 20

.5oz MT hood @ 5

White labs dry English ale

6oz cold pressed coffee in secondary

4oz(or to taste of tullamore dew Irish whiskey) at bottling So far this is what I've got, any advice is welcome. Also thanks for all the tips I've read here

Last add on. What do you think about adding something for mouthfeel like flaked barley, oats or even maltodexdrin
