Debating between:

3.4 kg Coopers Pale Ale LME
0.4 kg sugar
US05 yeast
Cascade/Citra/Amarillo late and dry hop additions

or

1.7 kg Coopers IPA Brew A LME
1.7 kg Briess sorghum liquid extract
0.4 kg sugar
US05 yeast
Cascade/Citra/Amarillo late and dry hop additions

Looking for ligh-medium body IPA, moderate bitterness, and decent citrus flavor and aroma.

All comments appreciated.

Never had sorghum beer. Is it that distinctive in a 50/50 mix?

Nobody else knows your tastes. We can guess which one you would like but it is only a guess. To know, make a half size batch of each and have samples to drink. If you hate one, you will know and have less of it to drink than a full size batch and can then make an informed decision on which to use in the future.
