Installing for the first time:

1) Do I need a beer faucet wrench?

2) Do I need to take them apart and clean even though they are new?

Thanks.

1. To avoid leaks, yes it is recommended. Im sure you could use some other wrench/similar tool but I would recommend them since theyre so cheap.
2. I didnt when I bought mine. Probably should have, but havent had any issues. I did give them a soak in sanitizer though

Faucet wrench makes it easy getting the faucets on and off. Also less chance of dinging up the faucet using a faucet wrench as opposed to something else.

I did take mine apart and clean/sanitize when I first got them, as well as between each keg. They are simple to take apart and get back together. 30 seconds to disassemble and reassemble.

Cool, thanks!

I also recommend a faucet wrench. Cheap and will keep your taps looking good. I never washed mine but always push left over star san through before I fill the kegs.
