Friend just gave me a keg of Guinness and I haven't used the Guinness faucet in a long time. I cant remember if I need a washer to connect the faucet to the tower? I have a micromatic Guinness tap. I found some pictures like this but no-one ever mentions if there is washer in place before attaching the tap. I cant even remember if I use a washer to attach my perlick taps.

Assuming you are just swapping the faucet itself, then there is a square profile O-Ring that does go between the faucet. Though I've had luck with reusing them if I didn't get herculean on tightening them unnecessarily.

All faucets will have an o ring in between the faucet and the coupler. It is a thing black o ring that you might not even notice unless you're looking for it, not a large flat one like you see with co2 tanks
