Yesterday at about 1pm we brought David Frank home to Astoria. No more IV, no more heart monitors, no more doctors and nurses...
I've learned a few things about him over the past couple days. He does not like his diaper changed. In fact, it is the only time he cries. He likes being held, likes sleeping, really likes milk, and likes being outside on the porch. New York City traffic and train sounds as well as neighbors's conversations dont effect him in the least.
He sleeps better (knock wood) than I am told is typical. My wife had to get up only twice last night (ashamed to say I slept through), and that was just because it was bottle time. He settled right back down after that and passed out. So, in short my son is an eating machine who is used to people and doesnt cry without good reason, and on top of this is one hell of a good looking baby.
I think we will keep him.
