I am going to have a few work buddies over for an ag brew session. For the recipe though I was thinking of making a list of base malts, specialty malts and hops and letting each participant choose 1 of each. Then I was going to formulate a recipe off that. Anyone ever do this or think it might not be a thing to do with non-brewers?

I think it sounds really good. So will you be making one recipe or 1 for each buddy? I could see the day being real long if each one is brewing.

I'm thinking 1 total. Got the idea from hearing about a bunch of guys bringing 1 base, specialty and hops to a brew session without saying what just to see what it is. Sounds like it'd be fun. I plan on putting descriptions and pictures with it (at least for the grains) just so they can have an idea of what is what.
