make a Pale ale, pilsner, IPA or something light in color. (SRM lighter than 9) then add the food coloring in the bottling bucket just before bottling....taaadaa

and be prepared to buy a new bottling bucket unless you want it to be green...and other beers to possibly be green.

or use kegs/ mini kegs.
 
Just add a couple drops of green food color to each bottle as you bottle it. Any light colored beer you like will work.
 
I searched for "Green Beer" but never seen a thread.... I kegg so I should just add it to the kegg? I will do an IPA so any idea how many drops?
 
I assume you are making something for St. Pattys? Just put the food coloring next to the kegorator and let people add a few drops to their pint when they pull it. That's how it's done at the Irish pub I go to for St. Patty's.
 
Is there any way to make a green beer without food colouring? Any adjuncts that will make it green? Wheatgrass extract in the secondary?

If you put the food coloring in the bottling buck, wouldn't you have to stir it to get it to mix? If you did stir it, would that cause to much oxidation? Thanks.
