Yes please! ;) Please serve mine up vertically though...

For no particular reason except maybe that the snow is back:

What a preminition. If you watch the vid, that was me shoveling out my van this morning (I don't expect it to move today though as long as the beer supply holds out). 11-15/16" fell overnight (+/- 1/32"). By far our biggest snowfall of the year and it's still coming down. Underneath all that snow is mud so plowing is out of the question. It will be all melted and creating more mud in a few days anyway.

Cold snow leave us.

Amen Brother! I have plenty of indoor projects to occupy myself with today. I actually really like these big snowfalls. Just not so much in mid-April.

WTH. I thought you guys were getting nice weather up there. I swear I looked this past weekend and it was 70F in chicago. Maybe I was confused.

Oh no, you were right. It was 80 Saturday where I live. A friend told me. Then it snowed Monday.

The most confused person in my area is the weather man ;)

The photo is probably upside down. However, our weather in illinois has improved. Drinking my American British bastard ale and grilling out. Temp is approaching 60f.

Next week morel hunting!!!!!

Howdy friends!

I'm checking in..

Still busy, but that's good. Taking tomorrow and Monday off. I'm brewing a Honey Kolsch tomorrow. It will be my first Kolsch. Do any of you have experience with White Labs German Ale/Kolsch (WLP029) yeast? It says minimum ideal temp is 65F, and I guess I'm a little surprised by that. The Wyeast Kolsch yeast has a much lower minimum ideal temp.

Anyhow...
I hope you are all doing well. If you observe good Friday tomorrow, then I hope you have a good one. If you don't observe it... well, I still hope you have a good one.

Cheers!

Good to hear from you Stauff. Glad you're busy. Taking tomorrow off too. The **** is going to hit the fan pretty soon with work and a I have to get some things done at the old homestead before then.

I always ferment at 63. I dont care what the yeast package says. It seems to work. Not that I couldn't have better beer. In short, I don't know.

Anyone heard from Dan? Must be on the beach, sand between the toes, staring at the wonderful sunsets. Hopefully a beer in the hand too.

I just broke off half a molar on some dried up pizza crust. I wrapped the chunk in masking tape and I'm going to put it under my pillow for the crown fairy. I'm gonna be pissed if there ain't a couple grand there in the morning.

Looks like I've been missing some stellar posts :mug:

The new member icons threw me off a bit.

Yikes! Must have been some tough stuff. Id say have a home-brew but not sure how that would feel against the raw tooth. Hope its gets fixed soon.
