While reorganizing our fermentation chamber we tipped a carboy into the side of another and shattered it, releasing all of our painstakingly crafted Traditional Bock all over the bottom of the freezer. Nobody was hurt.

But we're very, very sad.
 
That's too bad. For safety reasons, I've switched exclusively to better bottles. Good thing too, because i dropped one full of cleaner the other day while cleaning it.
 
Sorry to hear this. I freak out when a few ounces spill when I'm taking a gravity sample.
 
Still have never used glass and that is the other reason why! Hard to watch hours of work go down the drain.

Ya I don't own much glass in my home brewery, I've also never broken a plastic bucket!

OP, I'm really sorry tis a terrible thing to spill beer, especially a stout! I'm glad you weren't hurt.
