Filters at work that is!!

Our company installed a new filter this weekend... so I sit down at break this morning to catch up on things here at HBT and to check on an order at another site and OHHHH NOOOOOO!

Your request could not be completed.

The URL specified has been classified as Alcohol, and traffic to sites within that category is not allowed.

TOTALLY SUCKS! So people can sit at break and lunch and watch YouTube vids and spend all day on ESPN but I can't read about beer or order beer ingredients!

And yeah there are ways around it but still frustrating!

I have used logmein to remote into my home computer. Mostly to make sure my downloads were still running. Or you can maybe set up a home computer as a proxy server...

google proxy and you can find websites that have a browser in them and you can go on any site you want!

haha but beware, my last job when i was grading soybeans I did that and got all of my coworkers kicked off the internet haha needless to say they thought it was because they were always checking fantasy football scores and their emails. haha I kept my mouth shut, especially since I was a temp hahaha!
