I forgot to add whirlfloc

I was so excited about making a batch of some heff I didnt and the clairifier at the last five minutes of the boil.Will it affect the taste.I came home today to a plugged airlock.I threw a towel over it and bled off the pressure and hooked up a blow off tube.I used a carboy this time so I could see the yeast in action.

Eh, it's a hefe. Shouldn't be clear anyhow. And no, it won't affect the taste. You're good.

I purposely dont' add any irish moss products to wheat beers such as a hefe.

Wheat beers aren't supposed to be clear, you did fine.

I also never add whirfloc or irish moss to my wheat beers. They are supposed to be cloudy unless you are trying to make a kristalweizen.
