Given to my roommate for free, and since he doesn't have any need for it he gave it to me. Now the question is, try to fill the sanke or just go buy some cornies?

I just got a 15.5g from a friend in exchange for a case of beer. =D

I'm going to keggle mine, as I'm currently doing mini-BIAB in a 24qt pot on the ole' electric range.

Free kegs are awesome!

If you do not have a keggle then I suggest that but if you are happy with your current equipment I would yank the spear, clean it out good and stretch an orange carboy cap over it to have a nice fermenter. I ferment and serve out of all sanke kegs and am now starting into closed pressurized fermentation. So far so good!

BTW nice score!

buy cornies

I'm thinking this is what I'm going to do for right now. Probably just disassemble the sanke and clean it out the best I can, then store it away somewhere until I get the equipment to start doing half barrel batches :mug:
