For Huna Day? The parking lot should be filled with food trucks. You will be surrounded by food.
Sorry, I meant the night before (Friday). I want to see the brewery before I get hammer time and would love to crack some bottles with the people that I am sure will be there.

Anything a first-time Hunah Day attendee (and Tampa visitor) should know/tips for maximizing the enjoyment of the experience? Also, a few questions:

-Florida still has those weird 32oz/128oz growler laws right? I'm hoping to grab some growlers on Sunday to take back to share with friends in SC. Most of mine are 64oz ones, or 750ml HF growlers. Any rules about breweries only filling their own branded growlers?

-Any dumb Sunday regulations I should be aware of if I want to do any shopping before heading home?

Sun screen and water. From what I understand some places will fill your 32 oz. growler and some you have to buy theirs. I don't know about Sundays.

I believe that you can't buy beer before noon on Sunday in retail stores. At least that was Whole Foods rule last time I was in Tampa on a Sunday. Growler size rules are still in effect, only 32 or 128 oz. CCB doesn't require you to use their growlers, will fill other breweries.

Highly recommend water...lots of it, as hotmetal said (I'm bringing a Camelbak). As somewhat of a potential reprieve, the forecast for Saturday looks perfect...low 70s and at least some cloud cover, so it doesn't sound like melanoma will be on the menu. No "dry county" Sundays here AFAIK.

I'm coming from Minneapolis. I will happily sizzle under your harshest of sun beams. It'd take a month for me to thaw out, never mind burn.

Yeah I already have a large tube of sunscreen ready, along with many bottles of water and Powerade.

Anyone know the details of how Hunahpu Hangover Day at 7venth Sun works? Just show up and drink? Also, anyone planning something for Saturday night and/or Sunday morning? Yeah, I know how crazy that probably sounds to even suggest, but hey. ;)

If still coherent, me and my Tampa tour guide Wiltznucs and possibly thesamkuehn might do something degenerative like go to the brewpub after Huna Day on Saturday.
Look forward to BS'n with ya!

7clutch does not have to do that (of course, he will anyway), but I'll gladly kick in some nice beer for couch or floor space somewhere on Saturday night. Doesn't have to be decided right now either, I'm fine with seeing where the day takes us all (as long as that isn't the drunk tank...).

Ahh, if I was going back to my place Saturday, you would be more than welcome.

This. I'll see what magic I can work.
