I bottle conditioned the first half of a 5 gallon brew and it was very nice. I bottled the second half which had been in fermenter for an additional 3 weeks or so. 4 days in, I felt like it might not have worked, also wanted to test the experimental brew. It has almost no carbonation. Can I fix the other 2.5 gallons remaining or is this just gonna be flat?

I realized this was a half filled bottle because I started sucking up sediment from my fruit slurry. Could the extra head space account for a lack of atmosphere equilibrium?

Thanks. Bring my first batch, I am not sure if the yeast would still be active enough.

Temperature plays a big role in how fast a beer carbonates too. Make sure you aren't storing the bottles in a location that is too cool. The yeast will like temps in the mid 70's.
