I made a starter with the yeast that I washed. It was the yeast that was washed from an entire batch of yeast & trub.
The starter was 2 quarts with 1.040 wort and it has now settled out. The bottom of my starter (which has a base of 5x4 or so) has 1/2" of pure white yeast.
I dont need exact calculations, but how much yeast is here? Enough for one batch? Can I pitch into a 10 gallon batch?
