How much weight to sink dry hop bag?

The NB Surly Furious clone I made has a dry hop load of 8.5 ounces (pellets).

Last dry hop I did was with just one ounce of leaf and I thought for sure I had enough weight but the bag still floated.

I'd rather not experiment this time around so any advice on how much weight is needed in the hop bag to ensure it sinks with this 8.5oz of pellets?

For the record, two pounds of marbles was plenty to sink the hop bag in this case.
