How many glasses survived............

Member' a while back ago Sanuel Adams did the free BL glass giveaway to AHA memebers.

I was finishing off a glass of Winter Bock last night and got to looking at my common use SABL glass. It seems the label has seen better days. Out of the 6 that I have (2 won, 4 gifted) I only use the one.

This also got me to thinking. Fortunately, I have yet to break a beer glass.

How have your freebie glasses fared?

I have one that broke right after I got it. The other is fading but still surviving, wish I could get more free ones. I have the worst luck with beer glasses mostly because I was letting my kids load them in the dishwasher and when a thin walled glass touches something else, broken glass.

Really it's my fault for not handwashing them, and now I've started doing that most of the time. Lost a really nice, probably irreplaceable Kona Brewing glass.

I broke one and I can't seem to locate the other. I have too much glassware at present. Writing that makes me wonder considering I've broken 2 glasses this week...

I could break a glass a day and still drink from a decicated beer glass for at least 2 months. It comes too easy doesn't it.


Now what I really need is a set of Nonic........Oh Bother.

Never got mine, but I busted a Fresh Hop Fest glass a couple months ago.

I guess I wasn't around for this...but I just knicked my Utopias glass a few weeks ago. Wasn't happy about that!

i know the feeling. I have at least 40 glasses in boxes in my basement!!

I got my hands on three of them and they're all still in perfect shape despite regular use (knock on wood). Of course, being without a dishwasher, I wash all my dishes by hand. Probably a good thing in this case due to the adverse effects of the machines on these glasses.
