I recently brewed an all-grain kit form northern brewer, got it in the primary, pitched, then was sent off to work 1600 miles from home. how long can it sit in a brewbucket before the oxygen is gonna ruin my beer??

Thanks,

A long time. I'd try to get it out of the bucket by 5 weeks, though, as I can sometimes taste a yeasty flavor in beers that spend 4+ weeks in the fermenter.

I had a Belgian stout sit on the yeast cake for 6 weeks, it turned out fine. My barleywine has been on for about 5 and a half weeks. I need to rack it to secondary to bulk age it
