I was driving out of town to do a hike. Wondering what that red flashing key icon on the dash meant… Yes, my keys were hanging in the shed door still.
What happened? How far did it let you go?

Edit: what kind of car do you have? Glad my purple monster truck isn't keyless!

That looks like an airplane tire.

Brew on :mug:

Which is where you might expect a luggage wheel to be found. Did not you not get the joke?

I actually heard a tire pop today, scared the bejeezers out of me and a few coworkers coming back from lunch. Truck ran up a curb, over a base section of a lightpost, and I am guessing had the entire weight of the trailer end up on that one tire. BANG. Right next to us, with our windows down.

Anyhow back to memes.

That entire tire looks so tired I think it's time to be retired.
Naw, they retread 'em. Multiple times, as long as the side walls haven't been penetrated or otherwise damaged, or you haven't burned thru 5 layers of tread. You can actually see exposed steel belts in the tread and the wheel is still "good to go". Those tires are nothing short of amazing, and very expensive $$$.

This meme has forced me to rewatch the cringe worthy "you're breaking my heart" scene, and it's absolutely right. Padme gives birth to close enough to full term twins within a day of that scene, but she runs out the spaceship towards Vader like someone who isn't remotely pregnant.

Having just lived with a very pregnant person who only carried one baby, Padme didn't run like a pregnant woman carrying twins that were basically at term. I'm sure that some of us have seen videos on YouTube of very pregnant women running 5 minute miles, but those ladies have to be training hard all through their pregnancy. We were not treated to a Padme exercise montage at any point. That scene should've looked more like:

Spaceship lands. She waits to see him on the landing pad before she opens the ship ramp, groans while slowly standing up, waddling decisively out, and yelling at Vader to get his butt over because her feet hurt. She cuts to the chase about the younglings. When he evades the question she asks him again. She would proceed to beat the heck out of him for a moment while he's surprised and unwilling to even restrain her. Kenobi would take the opportunity to get out of the ship, and would probably have been surprised but anticipated that Vader wouldn't appreciate getting beat up, and might've tried to physically separate them before Vader strangles her. She'd yell at Vader about how she's been carrying his baby for months while he gallivants across the galaxy, and she can't believe he'd repay her by killing a bunch of kids, and oh by the way how could she ever trust him with kids again. Then I don't really know how that scene ends.

Yeah George, you really kind of messed up everything about that scene. The lightsaber duel was cool, but maybe you shouldn't have been in such a hurry to get to that.
