Im testing out a new system tomorrow.
Is it possible that transfer tubing can be too large (in diameter)?
I am using 5/8 ID to transfer from MLT to Kettle, and as the wort flows through during fly sparging, it only occupies a very small portion of the tube, while air occupies the rest of the tube.
Do you guys think this will cause aeration of the wort as it travels through at 168 degrees, or am I being paranoid?
