First batch in primary right now.

It's "Bombastic IPA" from Great Fermentations.

It smells great. Does it look ok for day two?

Looks good and normal. I'm a displaced Hoosier myself. You keeping that beer cool and out of sunlight?

Not to push advice on you, but fermentation produces some heat so your probably fermenting in the mid 70s, which is a little high for the yeast you're probably using. It might not matter right now to you, we all started in a closet somewhere in the house. You'll still probably make a great beer too. However, you might get some off flavors from the hi temps.

You should search "Swamp Cooler" on this site for ideas of how to drop the temp a bit.

But, like I said, this is your first batch and you'll be psyched that you made some tasty beer no matter what. Just something to think about when you undoubtedly get addicted to this hobby!

Post back when you crack open your first one!
