I found a LHBS that has dirt cheap prices. They are not super organized or overly friendly.... But honestly none of the stores I have visited are super friendly. Online I find brew international.com to be the cheapest.

You can get set up for about $70. You don't need the shiny big glass carboy or all fancy stainless steel stuff to start with. A fermenting bucket, a racking cane and bottle capper is just about all you need to do the first batch since you most likely have a pot big enough in the kitchen to do a batch or two before going bigger if you stick with brewing.

I've got all the equipment that I need, i'm more or less looking for where to get cheap ingredients but still have good quality stuff

Farmhouse is in Janesville WI. Another place I've had great experiences with is ritebrew.com.
