Just got a text from the friend previously mentioned ITT. He offered goandpickitbro servies for too many people and his vehicle is at max capacity before even arriving at HF. lol

Sorry for the pain I have caused friends. I guess thats Karma for calling HF beers average ;)

Surely he can fit one of each bottle for you in the glove compartments?

In your opinion, when do Hill saison's "peak" in terms of aging? I truly haven't had a bad bottle, regardless of age, but I've never opened something more than a few years old. Anybody try 5-year-old Anna/Arthur?

When we did Don nypalooza last fall and drank 30-40 something HF saisons, for most of the verts we did, 1 to 1.5 years was the "peak." A couple of the ~3 year old bottles were pretty gnarly (storage conditions totally possible to have played into that). Except Edith - batch 1 Edith was the best by a wide margin and that was old AF.

^^^ Can echo above. For me 1-2 years has been a good spot. If I can hold onto them that long without drinking...

Arthur especially, I find that one gets really incredible with more and more time. I love fresh Florence much more than fresh Arthur. They all age great for me. Sleeper to drink fresh for me is Convivial, I love the brightness in that one right out of the gates. I will drink aged Arthur/Anna/Florence any time though.

Oldest regular saison I've had from them was a four year old Arthur a few months ago. In my cellar the whole time and it was great. It was softer and a bit more funky. Perfect beer.

If that's the case then Don better drink all that **** in his basement. Tick tock tick tock

One of those is probably the date of the TB xmas party... Gene

opened mag of 7/14 Florence recently and it was fan'****** tastic. Bigger format/plastic seal under cap may help though. That said, 12/13 is still doing amazing

7/14, best batch of Flo ever IMO. Say what you want about 4/15 but that July '14 batch is a beauty. Still have one somewhere...

we popped one on July 2nd. it was a really nice bourbon fudge bomb but definitely getting a little oxidized at this point. i'd open it sooner than later
This isn't quite "lately" but a buddy opened one with me in January and it was showing some age but overall pretty fantastic.

Edit: what skrip said
Awesome dudes! Will probably pop mine for my birthday next month. Will report back.
