you're breaking my heart!!!

I know my rep as a HF homer... but still...

either way... Anna should be a sure-fire awesome beer... Everett is my favorite porter, but some people don't get too excited over porters? I dunno... Dorothy is probably the one that less people can agree on... I love fresh Dorothy... but yeah... get some Anna... hope it changes your mind

Sorry, I meant no disrespect. I get a little bent outta shape when people talk negatively about my beloved Fantome so I could see why my post might have kicked you right in the feels. According to BA/untappd, I have not had Everett nor Anna in 4 years. Anna I described as "wicked sulfuric egg farts" and Everett I found to be "more like a black ipa with an addition of dirty pennies."

Anna has been mentioned a number of times now so im just gonna default to that and hope it changes my opinion of HF.

IIRC only one or two of the CW guys from the last round bitched about things, but AFAIK that was not the main reason Shaun cancelled it the first time (could be wrong though). The complaints were pretty ******* petty though.

I was extremely happy with the way the program went the first time. Hell, I think I still have a couple sours from the first round saved for my anniversary. First right of refusal for former members is A-OK with me ;)

I feel like people being ******** and complaining about the beers they ended up getting was at least one reason the collected works was cancelled. Good to see it's back though, especially since I may be moving out of the region next year.

I can actually see how someone might get a "black IPA" impression from Everett, but not the dirty pennies part short of a bad/poorly stored bottle. I've never had an Everett I found metallic, and it's an off-flavor I'm generally sensitive to.

Always the strong possibility your own pallette has evolved since last visiting... especially over 4 years. Buy em all in the name of science.

If I use that mentality, I might as well avoid the situation all together. My enjoyment of beer has been plummeting. 4 years ago everything was at least a 4 out of 5 on the enjoyment scale unless there was something "wrong" about it. Now, beer I really enjoy is barely a 3.5 at max.

Jesus Christ what have I become.

Cool just checkin to make sure carb levels and wax colors are on point.

Both carbonation and wax colors were spot on. Love the green color. Reminds me of dark infectious secretions which puts me right at home. Not quite Klebsilla Pneumonia, but close to MRSA if I had to guess.

If you are curious about taste...... This was done end of May. The b3 was stored properly. I didn't prefer one over the other. Both were phenominal, the b3 had slightly more funk to it, but thats about it. If I had to choose I couldn't. Art is my favorite beer from HF and quite deserving of the praise it gets.

Just got a text from the friend previously mentioned ITT. He offered goandpickitbro servies for too many people and his vehicle is at max capacity before even arriving at HF. lol

Sorry for the pain I have caused friends. I guess thats Karma for calling HF beers average ;)
