High fermentation after a month.

I made a hard cider or apple wine about a month ago. It was a gallon of simple apple. I added a lb of corn sugar. I know that a lot. I wanted a high abv. I used a third a pouch of us-05 I had lying around. It started fermenting like crazy after 12 hours. Now a month later its still fermenting like crazy. Is this normal? All my high gravity beers have stoped active fermentation within 10 days. Og was 1.070
