Just a quick question, this is my first ever attempt at making cider and I'm wondering how long the bubbling process goes for?? May sound like a silly question but have to ask. It's been bubbling like crazy and now it has stopped and I guess I'm wondering if this is normal??

Cheers. ;)

Normal for it to slow down after a few days of an initially furious pace, but it's still working. You never shared your recipe, and the amount of added sugar can also be a factor, or the type of sugar, too. Some folks add honey, and that can be slower. Temperature is another factor. How large is your batch? Just because you don't see a lot of bubbles doesn't mean it has stopped. I'm on Day 34 and I rarely see a bubble now, but it's still workin'. Depends on what kind of cider you're making, but it takes time.

Thank you for responding :)
Well, I'm only on day 5 and because it's my first ever go at this I have used a standard brew kit and recipe to go with it. Very basic, just did what the shop guy told me to do. Which I have to say I am regretting now!!! As for the amount of sugar??? The bag he gave me!! Don't mean to sound vauge. :/ I'm thinking it's a little cool, it's sitting at 22deg Celsius ?? And it is very
early days, maybe I'm just worrying to soon??

Oh and I've made about 17 liters. Which probably isn't that much. Like I said its my first time at this.
Thanks for your help :)
