So I got my HERMS coils and vessel finally finished. I am going to do my first HERMS brew this weekend. What kind of flow rate should I set the pump to. My pump is manual so I will set it by putting some water in MLT and pumping from it to set the flow rate before I actual recirculate. What flow rate is best so that I don't compact my grain bed?

Thanks in Advance.

Best? Depends on your crush, lautering device... Id say .25-.5gal per minute from experience
