I am making my Dead Guy clone again- and I need some help with the recipe. I don't remember what I did last time (because I stupidly didn't write it down). The recipe is:

13oz Belgiun Cara-Munich
13oz German Munich
7oz US Crystal 40 deg L

4lbs Alexanders Pale LME
4LBS LDME
(I substituted all XLDME)
1 oz Perle@ 7.5 AA for 60 min

1/4 oz Perle
1/4 oz Czech Saaaz for 15 min
1 tsp Irish Moss

My changes (that I DID write down) in the hops schedule:

1 oz perle 60 mins
1/4 oz perle 30 minutes
1/4 oz perle 5 mins
1/4 oz saaz 5 mins.
I used pacman yeast.

o.g. was 1.066
f.g. was 1.018

The problem- I did a PM with this recipe. I can't remember how much 2-row I used, or how much I decreased the LME/DME. The guy at the LHBS helped me figure it out originally. I want to do a PM again, and keep the o.g. about the same.

Does anyone either have some software to help, or better math skills than I have? Thanks!

The easiest thing to do is to download BeerSmith and plug in the recipe as written(it's VERY intuitive). Then, you can see what the OG is based on the recipe, then take away extract and add 2-row to get back to that same target. Plus, BeerSmith is a great program. It works fully-functional for three weeks, then it's only $20 - a very good investment, IMHO.
