Help! Pressure release valve stuck!

I am trying to open up a corny that's got beer under pressure inside it, but the pressure relief valve appears to be stuck. No matter how hard I pull on it, it won't budge.

Any ideas on getting this thing open? I kinda don't want to kill myself in the process.

Take the hose off the inlet GAS valve and press down on the valve with a screwdriver. Or, just hook a gas hose that isn't connected to the tank and let the pressure out with the hose.

Press the gas-in poppet valve to release the pressure?

yeah, release pressure through the post, then unscrew the pressure relief valve and clean it up to get it unstuck.

OK good thinking...I just hooked up a QD to the gas post and it worked great.
