Hey everyone, so it's 1:00am and on my way to bed I shook the yeast starter without thinking and suddenly foam started pouring out the top and the foam stopper in the flask shot out.

After I cleaned up the floor, I sprayed down the outside of the flask with sanitizer and then wiped it off with paper towel. Overall, it appears I lost 100-150ml of the starter (1400ml originally).

Is the starter inside still good, or have I greatly risked contamination with the overflow??

This is a hard call. For me I would probably use it if the batch of beer is relatively cheap. But if it is going to be a fairly expensive batch then I would start over. At the end of the day it is all about how you feel about it.

I think you will be fine, you might get some foam control to use in your starters, it works great.

This just happened to me 2 weeks ago. It was no big deal. It just showed me that my yeast starter and stir plate were doing their jobs really well. I cleaned up, kept stir plating, and when it was done cold crashed the starter in my fridge and pitched 2 days later. The beer (a 1.058 OG IPA) fermented awesome and turned out great.

I don't think I'd worry any more about it.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone, I am going to go for it. It is for a Strong Belgian Dubbel so my concern is as well that the starter may not be strong enough, but! It's only a (3) gallon batch so we are going to go for it.

Finger crossed I don't have a Dubbel Sour (although, that doesn't sound awful...)
