Hi everyone, I'm new to the board and just want to say a quick hello to y'all. I'm originally from England (17 years ago) and have sent many a couple of decades sampling beer all around this fair planet (If I remember correctly :drunk: ), I'm an enthusiastic cook, and being a beer lover, I think it's time to dip my toe into the world of home brewing - yes, I'm a virgin, but I have to start somewhere :mug:
Anyway, I'm looking forward to lurking, reading, learning and joining-in.

Cheers :mug:

Welcome to HBT! :mug:
You have picked a great place to find information. Have you purchased anything yet?
What type of beers are you thinking about brewing?

why, thank you:)

i haven't purchased anything yet, I need to do some research before I spend money, also, I have a feeling that Arizona might present some challenges because of the heat (storage, etc), just a thought, I don't know for sure!

i a big fan of IPA's, and Pale Ales in general, and Bitter (being a Brit, it's what i grew up on :drunk: ) I also like Belgian ale, Chimay in particular. My preference is for dryer tasting beers, rather than the sweeter varieties, like some of the reds I've tried.

So, I want to start with Pale Ale/IPA and maybe a Bitter. I'm looking forward to getting educated and having fun here.
