I wanted to say thank you. I was a member here years ago. I think my account was purged. No big deal. I bought the equipment to brew about 6 years ago. Then never used it. I got sideways on some investments that took away from anytime for a hobby. Well enough about the past.

I brewed my first ale last weekend. Would of never got through it if it wasn't for this site. Or the fact my brother got a mr beer for Christmas. What's a competition between brothers? Maybe a better brew. :mug:

Welcome Will! Where at in Washington are you? I'm in Longview and just recently started brewing. I've got three batches conditioning and plan on brewing batch four (an Imperial IPA) this week.

Comps are really good to get feedback from real BJCP judges and not friends who think every brew you make is good. I am waiting for the results from the pinbrew comp in tacoma last weekend. If you enter a comp keep the mind set of just getting feedback and not the winning/losing aspect.
