Hello From Bellingham WA

I thought I would jump on and introduce myself. I'm 28 and live in Bellingham WA which is home to a few (5) great (IMO) small breweries. 2 opened up just a few months ago so the beer scene here is growing and some pretty good beer is made here. I am a Quality Control Manager at a dairy plant so I have some experience making food products. I am a WSU graduate and a die hard Coug fan.

While I haven't brewed anything yet. I am hoping to learn as much as I can from this site, so I can do things the right way and make some good quality beer. I plan on starting small and simple and then increasing the complexity as I learn. I will be brewing my first batch sometime this summer after moving into a house that will provide enough room for me to get this hobby started.

I look forward to reading your articles and conversing with fellow beer enthusiast.
