Have a current brew problem

I switched stoves and it's been 15 minutes and this stove won't get my pot past 190 degrees what do I do? Don't have anyother heating unit.(not yet anyway)

Get two smaller pots do half at a time!

That works. You will boil off more liquid.

Trying to do a full boil on an electric stove I take it? Yeah, it's tough.

Split boils are one way to do it, as mentioned. Is simply straddling your kettle over two burners a possibility? Even with my old electric stove that still wasn't enough (added heat sticks to the mix), but it does the trick on my current gas stove.

Do you have the kettle lid on or off? Will come to a boil faster if the lid is on. I boil with the lid partially on so the heat can be turned down to medium high.
