Halloween is my favorite time of year.
Please post some of your costumes ideas/pics for the this year or some good ones from other years.

One of the best costumes I ever seen was a bald guy with a trench coat who had glued golf tees to his head....a great Pinhead from Hellraiser costume. Another one was a buddy who had several boxes of Cheerios and went around all night punching/kicking/slashing them: he was a cereal killer.

Cheers.

I wonder how many times this guy got slapped?

I don't have pictures handy, but my two favorite costumes were a giant cockroach and a blue poodle. The poodle was for a '50's themed party (poodle dresses, ya know). I had a can of yellow silly string in the most likely place & I would walk up to people, give the can a shake & spray them. Looks like I need to clean things up a bit.

Oh, man I love halloween, too. Most of my costumes were pre-digital camera, so to post pics I'd have to actually find them and scan them. some of my good costumes were:

Hamburglar

Ernie & Bert (me & SWMBO)

Dorothy & Scarecrow (Me & SWMBO again)

Red Baron- I wore an airplane that I made complete with nav lights, strobe, and a working prop, and of course a beer holder

Red Green & Harold- (me & a friend- I was Red Green)

Four of us dressed as the American flag the year of 9/11

Laverne, Shirley, Lenny & Squiggy ( the same four people- I was Squiggy)

Marvin the Martian (SWMBO went as K-9)

Edit: I found a pic of my Red Baron costume:

No pics of either of these, but in college a bunch of guys I know all bought those full-body cow costumes that have squirt-guns built into the udders. They each filled the udder with a different kind of booze (rum, vodka, tequila, etc) and would milk out shots for people.

Collectively, they were known as The Drunken Herd.

I was not in cow attire, because I had already made a Jesus costume (I used to have VERY long hair and a long beard - hair down past my waist, beard to mid-chest) and went party-to-party with my roommate who had fire-red hair and had dressed up as Satan.

God, that's funny!

My favorite recent costume wasn't really a great costume, just kinda funny. We were invited to a theme party where everyone was asked to dress as a pirate. Being a PITA that likes to bend rules, I went as a Pittsburgh Pirate.

One of the ideas I'm tossing around this year is the Croc Hunter. I pretty much have the clothes. Just need a wig and a stingray. It's a tad morbid and I'm a little worried it's going to be the type of thing that way too many people do.
