Hello and greetings from the United Kingdom!

I've browsed this forum as a guest on and off since I started brewing, which was quite a few years ago. I've been brewing all-grain beer since Nov 2015 and I love it! There is nothing like spending a Saturday with the garage door open making a brew!

Firstly thanks for providing a hub for so many knowledgeable people to share their experience. Secondly, I look forward to being an active member of your community.

I will also mention that I have a blog(link is in my sig) where I share my recipes and thoughts on beer, equipment and brewing in general.

I'll see you on the message boards!

Welcome to the forum, from Long Island, NY. Lick your wrist- I'd love to hear the story behind that name. :mug: cheers!

Thanks, I'll be visiting Manhattan and Brooklyn at the end of April! Can you recommend any good spots to go for a beer?

As for the name, it's a word play on Liquorice! I added a tbsp of liquorice root with my flameout hops. It's hard to pick it out on its own, but it adds something to the body for sure! Works really well with the Belgian yeast flavour set, as I had hoped!

Ha! That's a good one, I can imagine someone saying that after having a few too many as well. As far places to visit, I offer you this recent thread. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=619314 if you like history and don't mind some average beer, stop in McSorrley's. Brooklyn Brewery does tours and there are lots of beer places in Brooklyn.
