Hello all, I'm James from Halifax. Mead has always been a staple of my games (Dungeons and Dragons) and finally had the chance to try some last summer and really liked it which surprised me as I like my dark rum. Mixed up my first ever batch of anything Sunday around noon and found the procedure quite enjoyable. I mixed 9kg (19.8lbs) of honey in for an OG reading of 1.130 if anyone was interested, going to check once a week and using the online calculator.
I'm looking forward to learning some new things and having some fun doing it.
